Classy Chassie Car Wash

I have used this company for full service cleaning several times and had always been pleased. Today I went in for a thorough Spring cleaning, inside and out. No line - I was so excited - and I steered toward a full service lane. As I was about to enter the lane, a young man slammed down a barrel in front of me and hollered, Full Service closed today. He was abrupt and borderline rude, leaving me feeling like I was a problem for wanting the service they claim to sell. I won’t go there again. The employees could use training in good customer relations.

Service here is so hot and cold. On Sunday, 7/5 around 5pm, I got a “platinum” full service car wash for $35 and tipped $10 when I got out of the car. The car was barely vacuumed, I had crumbs in the center console, and the inside was not wiped down at all inside. This is just one way below average experience of many, but other times it’s fantastic. I wish it was more consistent. I go at least once every other week, and I’m not willing to bet almost $50 each time anymore. I wouldn’t recommend anyone comes here, and I also won’t be back.

This is the absolute best place in the world. I go here every day, even if it's just for the free coffee. Very kind, professional people. Especially the cashier and full service attendants! I'm a messy pig, and if it weren't for this place I'd be buried in my own filth within a week. The prices are reasonable and the wash tunnel itself is very welcoming and pretty lights and wax to make it fun on the way thru. Comes out better looking and smelling than when I go in, what more can I ask for? I tip big every time. Going here again tomorrow for a full service before hitting the beach, it's gonna be super hot outside.

This is the only car wash I have ever used in my 50 years of owning a car. However, after today’s experience it will be the last time. I came in to have my car cleaned inside and out, chose the $30 plan. Made the mistake of putting a $5 tip in the mailbox at the beginning of the service. My car came down the wash way. I noticed there was still spots on the back side panel, one of the reasons I wanted to go through. I waited and waited for someone to show up to wipe down my car. No one came I took one of their cloths and cleaned off the spots that did not come off, while waiting. Eventually another car was coming down the shute so I got into my car and drove back around. Parked and got out to inquire if they wipe down any longer. Well 4 guys come on, not one apologized and started to give excuses like someone was in the bathroom, etc. Offered to send my car through again…why I just got it cleaned? I said no. Attitudes were bad. Advised last time for me. One of the guys said go ahead and just go down the street next time. So perhaps this business has enough employees but what good are they if they have bad attitudes? Last time our family will frequent this business. Sad for long standing businesses trying to stay open to have such poor choice for employees.

Purchased the Unlimited car wash from the Windham location. Since the purchase, I have gone to the car wash every Sunday during business hours and they have been closed. So I have spent $45 and have not been able to use the unlimited subscription for almost a month. Sent an email through the contact us section of their website with no response. (I gave it about a week and a half) I called the Portland location as the Windham location instructed me to be able to cancel and get a refund. The Portland location canceled my account but said I could not get a refund. The man I was speaking to kept saying I am not the manager so I do not have the answers to your questions. However, he kept asking my questions to a person I could hear through the phone. The man I spoke to said my manager said I could cancel your account but could not issue a refund. When I asked to talk with his manager I was hung upon. Very poor customer service from both locations.

No longer a customer after today. Yesterday, 7/12, I drove into Portland specifically for interior/exterior cleaning. There was a barrel blocking the interior cleaning. I called the next day and asked if they still do interior cleaning. They assured me they did. I drove all the way back into Portland to find the interior lane blocked again. I called from their parking lot to ask about the interior cleaning. "Maybe in an hour". I asked if that was definite and explained I had already driven in twice to find they were not open for interior cleaning. "He thinks in about an hour. Have a nice day at the beaitch!" CLICK Never going back but will definitely tell everyone of my experience.

This is the only full service car wash that I go to. I usually get the platinum wash with interior and trunk cleaning. I think they give very good wash and do windows and wipe dash etc. I opt for the trunk vacuum because it gets leaves and pine needles etc. The mats and carpet look so good. I can tell when I take it there the car finish is bright and shiny, along with feeling nice and smooth. I like to tip the guys but a lot of times my wallet is empty, I don’t carry much cash. Maybe they could make an option to add a tip to the bill?

I used to come here a lot years ago when I lived in the city to have my cars washed and interior vacuumed. I took my new CRV in last week and paid $27 for the service (including the cargo area) after a trip to the beach with grandkids. The work area in the back looked nasty. Garbage strewn around, etc. I was second in line and watched attendants stand around chatting with customer before me for several minutes (after her car was done) before she left and they turned their attention to me. Service was quick and workers were pleasant, but sand in the back was still there when done. I went back to them and he said “I know, right? My vacuum just wouldn’t pick it up!” 🙄 I asked about the sides where sand was undisturbed and he agreed to wipe it out. I asked if the problem was his vacuum and he said “yeah, maybe.” He did not attempt to re-vacuum. Overall, unimpressed with effort. Used to be a stellar service but I’m not going back.
